Like many of you, here at Ten80 Tactical are gun people. We shoot guns, we collect guns, and we carry guns. Over the years we have purchased many different brands and styles of holsters while looking for the perfect fit.
Some we loved the fit but hated the retention, some we liked the retention but hated the fit.
After years of searching and seeing a lot of different holster ideas and concepts, none of them worked well.
We then decided to challenge ourselves to design the holster that had seemed so allusive to us. Our list of must-haves was simple - a holster that has the retention of a Kydex Taco holster, with the comfort of a leather hybrid, and most importantly the comfort that would keep us reaching for it every day. We also vowed that it would be 100% Made in America.
Using state-of-the-art design software and industry leading CNC machining we have developed a holster that gives you a custom fit with great retention for your firearm, as well as a comfortable fit for your body. We have rigorously product tested our holsters with a wide focus group (our shooting buddies), who make up every body type and shape, as well as different carrying styles. The response was overwhelmingly positive. We had, in fact, made the allusive holster.
Here at Ten80, we are not a marketing company, PR company, or a garage hobby shop. We are, at our roots an engineering company with over 40 years of combined experience in consumer products and industrial design. Our holsters are individually made in our 12,000-sf. facility to our exacting standards.
